The Norwegian Aviation Museum is located centrally in Bodø in Nordland.
It is situated about 1.5km from the centre of Bodø and the airport, Bodø Lufthavn.
The museum has been built across Olav V gate, next to the City Nord and Trekanten shopping centres and Nordlandsbadet indoor water park.
Getting to the Norwegian Aviation Museum:
A taxi can be ordered directly on tel. +47 07550. There are taxi stands both in the centre and at Bodø airport. The trip from the centre/airport costs about NOK 120.
Buses run from the centre of Bodø to the museum, yellow route 3, marked Vollen > Sentrum > Stordalen.
Bus from the Hurtigruten pier
Buses run directly from the Hurtigruten pier to the Norwegian Aviation Museum.
Departure about 12.30pm. Return 2.40pm.
Price NOK 200, including entrance to the museum.
Museum visitors can park free for up to two hours.
You must take a ticket from the ticket machine. This will give you free parking for up to two hours.
Price for the third hour: NOK 21. Price for the fourth hour: NOK 26. The maximum stay in the car park is four hours.
If you are visiting for a different reason (course, conference, party, etc.) or planning a longer visit, contact reception for a free parking ticket.
